Welcome to the homepage for my worldbuilding project, a world which I call "The Sixth Cycle."
The Sixth Cycle is a gaslamp/Victorian era-inspired, high fantasy-ish world which has undergone five apocalypses, with each period inbetween being referred to as a whole as a "cycle"... hence the name! It's currently in it's Sixth "cycle", which is likely the last and longest this world will ever see.
I originally created this world as a homebrew setting for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign back in 2016, while I was still in high school. Back then, it was just one small country, a large capital city, and a hanful of necromancers that plagued the inhabitants there. While I enjoyed high fantasy, I had shown much more interest around this time in sci-fi, and the World of the Sixth was quickly abandoned- all the way up until I befriended my first REAL group of D&D fans in college, and we decided I would be the DM for the next game. I brushed the dust off of that old fantasy setting, gave it a new coat of paint, and we got to playing.
This is all to say, a lot of work has gone into this project of mine, and I hope you enjoy reading about it!
Check out "Locations" for a look at the continents, countries, and cities I've developed!
Check out "Pantheon" for information about the gods of the Sixth Cycle. A lot of my setting's lore is very based in its gods and divinity. I'll also put information there about magic and how it works here.
Check out "Races" for information about races that exist within this world, some familiar (and very D&D inspired) and some unique to my world. I'll also include information about culture and homebrew there!
Check out "Characters" to see all of the character's I've made inside the World of the Sixth, as well as my art of them.
"Back" will take you back to my landing page!
