Pantheon overview
In the world of Lallutera, the lives of gods and mortals are intertwined with each other in countless ways. Mortals influence the gods by granting them power through the strength of their belief, and these beliefs in turn affect the very character of the gods they worship. Meanwhile, Gods are powerful beings with untold influence over the natural world, able to utilize their power to level cities or bless entire societies of people. Additionally, mortals' faith in these gods are some of the only ways that magic can be cast reliably and without adverse effect. While the relationship may seem rather one-sided, with gods holding immense power over mortals, the relationship is actually rather give and take on both sides- especially with the Warden upholding the Divine Laws to ensure Divines don't misuse their power.
The gods are undeniable truths. While religions following each god in the pantheon vary, their existence is undebatable even to the most staunch of atheists, and the effects they have on the world are palpable. At the end of the day, divinity is just a potent form of magic, and divine beings are creatures who have learned to weild it to perform great acts of creation. Even at the mortal level, magic itself can be tied to sparks of divinity which exist in each mortal. It's for this reason that the ascension of mortals into the pantheon is not unheard of.
